The United Nations Decade of Ocean Science was launched
Abstract
The article provides information on the implementation of the Decade on Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021–2030) with a view to generating knowledge for the protection of the oceans and the well-being of the inhabitants of the planet. It was noted that information has been developed on Member States, major groups of partners and their proposals, categories of potential action, the establishment of national committees and the request for support for the Decade coordination group.
